Welcome to Arbor Hills Junior High School, where we believe that students require an experience different from that of elementary or high school programs. The make-up of the student population in itself will provide new experiences because of the diverse range of differing environmental, economic, social, and educational backgrounds.
We challenge each student to discover his or her own capabilities, to pursue special interests, to participate in group endeavors, and to succeed at a rate and depth commensurate with readiness abilities, needs, and interests. We strive to develop an atmosphere to enhance the students’ opportunities to become involved academically and socially, and to enable them to build relationships of understanding and acceptance with their peers. We invite parents to share in this unique learning opportunity by staying involved in the educational process, accessing information and engaging in open communication with Arbor Hills teachers and administrators.
