Giving Back

Our students and staff give back to the area in a number of ways. Classes, buildings and student organizations participate in donation drives and other philanthropic initiatives throughout the year. Annually, our high schools raise thousands of dollars separately and collaboratively for local organizations through student-led events.

Student-led

Dance for a Chance (D4AC) - Each spring Southview student lead and organize an awareness campaign and fundraising event for a local nonprofit. During early planning for the annual event, students select a charitable organization that has particular meaning to the greater student body. Since 2004, students have raised over $300,000 for local organizations.

DanceGold - Annually, Northview students lead an awareness campaign and fundraising event for the Victory Center, a Toledo nonprofit focused on supporting cancer patients, survivors and those close to them. Hundreds of students participate and thousands of dollars are raised each year.

Clean Up 419 - Students created this club in 2022 to clean up the Sylvania community and Greater Toledo area. Over 60 students have participated in cleaning up litter in the community. Website (View More - link

Across our Buildings

There are many ways our students and staff make a difference in the community. Classrooms, clubs and entire buildings hold clothing and food donation drives for local nonprofits. Student choral groups perform for residents in senior living communities and throughout the area.

Athletics & Extracurricular

A number of our high school and junior high clubs and teams take time to donate their time in the community.
