Hill View has a proud and rich history in the Sylvania community. Our school first opened its doors in September 1921, welcoming 100 students into a building with just four classrooms. Since then, Hill View has continued to grow while maintaining the strong sense of community and tradition that makes our school so special.

Our current building officially opened in 2011 and is now home to approximately 380 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. At Hill View, we are fortunate to have a dedicated community of students, parents, teachers, and staff members who work together to support and educate all of our Hawks.

We are especially proud to be home to many second and third generation Hill View families and to have such strong community involvement. Our tradition of academic excellence and student success continues to be at the heart of all we do.

For more than a century, Hill View has been, and continues to be, a wonderful place for students to learn, grow, and soar together!
