Schoology LMS


Sylvania Schools uses Schoology, an integrated learning management system (LMS) that provides course management, mobile learning, and support for system-wide communication. This adoption for preK-12 will enable our teachers to provide a more robust digital learning experience that will enrich learning, regardless of the plan the district adopts in response to the coronavirus pandemic.


Schoology enables our students, parents, and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community from the classroom and beyond. We look forward to using Schoology in our classrooms from the start of school to enhance connectivity and communication with students, parents, teachers and administrators across our district. With Schoology, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, write academic blogs, and more. As a parent, you will be able to view your child’s activity within the platform.


We value your participation in your child’s education, and we encourage you to read Schoology’s Privacy Policy & Terms of Use at Student progress and activity will be monitored by faculty to ensure a safe, secure, and controlled environment.


Below, you will find information with instructions on how to create, log into, and use your Schoology account. Students will log in through their school email address and password at


In order to create your account, you will need to use the ACCESS code for your specific student.  That code should be provided to you via a welcome letter each year.  If you need this information, please email [email protected].

Students in grades 6-12 have received a notice about Schoology with instructions for logging in and using the resource. Elementary students did not receive a direct email, so please help your elementary child log in.  Here is information to assist students in signing into their Google accounts and Chromebooks (  Once on the web, they can simply go to and use their school email address and password to log in. If they're on a Chromebook, it's a simple click. Here is a video on student usage:
